Sr. Java Backend Developer

In ByKon we’re looking for an exceptional Sr. Java Backend Developer, you are responsible for the performance, stability, security and speed of a given web application all the behind the scenes functionality that makes everything the user sees and does possible.

Main responsibilities:

• API Design and development
• Generate recyclable code libraries to calculating, processing data, move users through business logic and retrieving and storing data to/from users
• Implement ongoing security systems
• Attend regular meeting with the front-end team to collaborate on problem resolution
• Routinely inspect server code for speed and stability optimization
• Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage and persistence
• Write reusable code and libraries aligned to defined design patterns
• Translate business functionality and objects into usable and clean code
• Keep a backup library before any large changes to services
• Testing server-side functionality, database and API integrations, and fixing bugs

Requirements:

• + 3 years of experiencie in Fullstack Developer or similar position 
• Bachelor’s degree: Computer Systems Engineering or related
• Advanced English 
•  Certification: SCRUM Master (Desired)

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Attention to detail and business logic

• Understanding of accessibility, server compliance, and design patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Available to work independently and manage on time
